Okay, I tested with my cheap Palit GTX970, which I bought for €290 € (taxes + shipping included) in September 2014 and my i5-4670k, which I bought for €197 (taxes + shipping included) in October 2013. I'm still happy with that combination, no hearable coil whine and no other problems.
Some of your heven benchmarks were without tesselation, others with extreme tesselation... so I tested them both. ;)
P.S.: What's with some of your minimal fps?
