Yes. Also I'm concluding the blue tunic is his main outfit.

That was obvious literally since last E3.

What happened to Link's model? His face looks so fat.

Yep, If you look closely they have improve a lot the overworld. So many details. And this is a boring hill. Imagine Death Mountain.

You can see the silouette of a volcano in the distance...

...with cel-shaded orange lava. Damn, this game is beautiful.

I hope they don't reuse names, though. It doesn't have to be death mountain.

I thought pornography wasn't allowed on Youtube.

I think it might be the most beautiful game I've ever seen. I really love the art direction they've chosen.

It beat Journey for me. I never thought anything would beat Journey.

Show me the actual game being played looking like that first.

It's clearly in engine footage. Zelda historically never used prerendered footage for cutscenes. It's a stylistic choice. That's how the game will look during gameplay.

I think people are seeing things when it comes to how the awards footage looked by comparison. This doesn't look any better than that. It's just virtical slice footage. The sheild even clips in this just like it did then. Aside from a boost in texture resolution shown with the sheild, nothing has been changed between this and that footage. The game always looked this good.

It's impossible to say from such a brief glimpse. We don't know the time of day in each video, which effects the light effects. We don't have anything on screen but Link and Epona, so we can't compare most things like the bushes, trees, and creatures. I will say that the LOD looks at least as good if not even more detailed in some areas, but that could be an aspect of assets placed than actual improvements to the base graphics. I would say that, from what little we see, it's comparable. Also, for comparing the vids, this is a good reference for the Direct footage:

Yeah, imo it's comparable, but there's not enough there to pass judgment. Gorgeous either way.

Edit:  Also, that grass density still boggles my mind.  How the heck are they doing that?

More grass, more awesomeness.

I feel like they are saving up a lot of power usage buy using cel-shading. If you look at structures like the trees and such, they aren't high poly models either. I also think the grass isn't as dense as it looks, but because of the primary color palette, a lot of it is masked. It's more obvious what they are doing in areas where the grass ends.

In other words, there are a lot of visual tricks being done.

We barely saw anything, need to see more before I make up my mind.
