So, we're wrapping everything up already?

#3: All I can say for now is that he's still in a dream.

Someone fights to find the traitor and kill it. Others fight for a legacy that isn't theirs. One person fights to always make it in time. But there's a certain someone who fights for a free world.

Another hint: Altering the system clock can be fatal for a certain boss.

Metal Gear Solid 3!

Good choice my friend

It's kinda sad when you guess it without completing the quote.

Triforce.

Yes it is! It's still my favorite MGS game.

A Link to the Past

(..) This was my first Zelda game as a kid, and though I could never beat it back then since I didn't understand english (though I did get pretty damn far for not knowing the language), it was still the first game I beat in this franchise when I revived my love for it back in 2011 - and it's because of this game that I'm a Zelda fan through and through.

Was also my first Zelda game. Didn't know anything about the English language being like, 5 or 6 when I first played it either, but just fooling around in this game was still enough to make Zelda my favorite franchise ever!

So, my #3 game has been guessed by Clyde32, which means it's time to reveal what games didn't make it. All great games, and some were featured in my list in previous years, that deserve the honourable mention. I'll cap it off at 20 more games, with system I played it on and PAL release year:

  • Age of Empires, PC, 1997
  • Age of Mythology, PC, 2002
  • Banjo-Kazooie, N64, 1998
  • Bioshock, PC, 2007
  • Cities: Skylines, PC, 2015
  • Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, PS3, 2007
  • Legend of Zelda, NES, 1987
  • Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Wii, 2011
  • Medieval II: Total War, PC, 2006
  • Motocross Madness, PC, 1998
  • Missile Command, A2600, 1981
  • Pong, Various
  • SimCity 2000, Mac, 1994
  • Soccer, NES, 1987
  • Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, N64, 1997
  • Super Mario 3D Land, 3DS, 2011
  • Tekken 3, PS, 1998
  • Virtua Tennis, DC, 2000
  • Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, PC, 2002
  • Wolfenstein 3D, Mac, 1994

It's kinda sad when a game you're unveiling in the next couple of days only makes someone else's honorable mentions.

Well, honorable mentions are still, "honorable".
