And you keep getting away with not understanding what "broken" means. Do you really think that just because you use hyperbole that it magically turns into the truth?

Dont even try to defend it just cause its Bethesda, dropping to 0 FPS is broken, freezing constantly is broken, having characters stck on the enviroment regularly is broken. This game does not deserve any of the 9s and 10s it got its flaws are not subjective ones theyre 100% objective and demostrated by many many videos. Bugs are not charming because its Bethesda, theres a reason the user review score of this on Metacritics is like 4, users are being honest, pro reviewers arent.

Game development is hard and expensive, with a game as big as fallout, you can't fix everything. You should just be happy you had a chance to pay 60 dollars to play it.

O sure thats a nice excuse, lets apply this to a different profession. "Hey guys the job of a cardiac cyrurgeons is hard, you should be happy your son got operated on, you shouldnt be complaining the doctor cut his aorta in half by mistake, hell fix it in the future and not kill another pacient".

Because the job is hard it doesnt give you an excuse to do it like crap, and Bethesda is doing this for the 100th time or something, they shouldve learned already but ppl got so used ot just give them a pass they dont care anymore, they do a lazy ass job and leave it to the moding comunity to fix things for them (essentialy doing Bethesdas job for them).

Im pretty happy with how the game is running on my 8350FX+970GTX combo. 50+fps at ultra, would be better if I disabled TXAA too which is complete overkill on my 24"display. The game itself looks sooo much better in person. Screenshots and youtube videos don't do it justice imo. The only obvious flaw I've encountered so far is the lip syncing, it is terrible. Granted Im only 2 hours in but I've got zero complains so far. The gameplay itself is also solid.

No complaints so far on the ps4 either. It doesn't look as 'next gen' as TW3, yet that already had graphical corruption and a glitched quest in the first 2 hours. I did miscalculate the character creation screen. Blame my own media blackout. I thought I was creating a character that has been wandering the wastelands for 30 years, then it starts at home lol. Didn't spend any time on the wife, didn't matter luckily.

I'm fitting in better after leaving the fault, still no reason to look like that after an hour in the new world lol

The character creation had me entertained for over an hour already. And he fits the part for the game play, as it seems it's another one where you push several shopping trollies full of junk around with you. Old toaster anyone, maybe a teddy bear?

If you can't stand 'broken' games, don't buy them. Not now, not later. If that doesn't fix it, well too bad, that's democracy talking. It looks way better than Fallout NV, which incidentally had already crashed on me in the first 2 hours. Runs better too, loads faster.

Whats the problem? Game development is hard, you should just be glad it works and not be so entitled.

Except people are paying for the game if it was given out for free then maybe you'd have a point but as it stands he has a right to complain about anything he feels is an issue.

Those are some really great pics.!

Getting back towards the Fallout 4 framerate issue, for me, I always wait a couple of days for even games like Fallout to find out if there are any issues. Since there are issues in relation of the Xbox One, this pretty much means that the variant you should avoid as a gamer would be the Xbox One verison.

Sadly though, this does resonate a problem; should that gamer only have an Xbox One, then the next best thing would be to wait for Bethesda to release an update to rectify this issue on the One. Outside of that solution, I am unsure of other alternatives.

I have been playing 20 hours, less bugs then witcher 3 and i was at 60fps solid. This game is no where as bad compared to it's earlier versions at launch, and other new games.

Stop hating already if something actually get better.

Fewer bugs than The Witcher 3?  I didn't play the PC version, but on PS4, I haven't encountered that many bugs. I'm in fact quite impressed by CD Project RED's first open-world game, considering there are so few bugs despite being such a massive game.

That being said, Fallout games have way more to do and interact with in their games than in The Witcher 3. Which complicates programming quite a bit.

Eh, I have the PS4 version and it has been pretty much entirely glitch free and I watched my friend play a bit on the XBOne and it seemed stable.

Why people keep getting away with making "broken threads" is beyond me

That 0fps is obviously a design choice to make the game more cinematic. It forces the player to stop and enjoy the scenery. There are a lot of good films which also use still shots. If anything it is under utilized!

It is getting 9 and 10s because it is an awesome game. I have friends who bought it on every platform and guess what..... They all love it and keep trying to get off work to play some more (leaving poor me lol)
