An open market is fine but it has its drawbacks too. The more open something is the more drawbacks it takes. The quality control issue is a big problem and I'd rather have big developers making the games instead of mostly smaller ones randomly doing things to see if it works out. An open market just doesn't have as much order as I would like.

But that's the issue with what you have at the end, you want order but I want freedom. Your order conflicts with my freedom and general desire for an open market where decisions can be made by all of us, your roder effectively calncels and strifles any choice I'd ever want to make ebcause it's taken out of my hands and placed in someone who buys and tells us what to buy instead, maybe you're used to that but I once was and I;d rather choose free choice and the open market, I've grown to find a lot more interesting titles from that one than the limited one.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

I'm ok with the way it is, both don't need to be the same even if it conflicts with you. It's good to have variety when it comes to business in an industry. This scenario reminds me of Assassin's creed now where the templars want order but the Assassin's want freedom to do anything.

Yeah but the Templars wanted to rule and actually killed Assassins while the Assassins just wanted their freedom =P.

Like buying an IP like I said can restrict who gets to see or play it which can kill a good portion of your potential audience (Helldivers like I said int he article was off my radar because it was announced as being exclusive to a system I wasn't going to buy and of course the same goes towards some users here who voice the same for PC exclusives even though PC gets exclusives for totally different and more fair reasons than when it comes to consoles).

In the end I don't mind that you like quality control for certain things, I do sometimes myself for certain games.

Really cool. The game looked like a lot of fun and I don't have a Sony system. I don't care about what this means for console wars... let's be real here, it's not like they're putting Uncharted 4 on Steam or something.
