Xenoblade Chronicles X can come close to Xenoblade Chronicles. Chrono trigger also comes close, but i agree Xenoblade Chronicles is a damn masterpiece.

Now this is my kind of thread! x ) Now, before I do my top ones, this just has to be said.

Chrono Trigger is easily the greatest RPG ever made! If anyone tells you otherwise? Well. they are simply wrong ; )

Now, onto my list!

Gen 3 - Mother 1, Final Fantasy... (That's all I got...)

Gen 4 - Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG, Final Fantasy 6

Gen 5 - Ogre Battle 64, Grandia, Paper Mario, Quest 64

Gen 6 - Tales of Symphonia, Grandia 2, Skies of Arcadia, Paper Mario TTYD, Fire Emblem: PoR

Gen 7 - Tales of Symphonia DotNW, Fire Emblem: RD, Xenoblade, Tales of Graces, Eternal Sonata, Resonance of Fate

Shoot, forgot about those. Kinda hard listing PC though. Where do they fit? Though only one I can think of is Baldur's Gate 2. Undertale, and.... does Heroes of Might and Magic count?
