Some games go outside the traditional controller, and and a certain twist to it, using their own unique controller or peripheral that is used specifically for one or a select group of games.

While nothing can beat a standard ol' controller, these accesories still put a nice twist to our gaming experiences.

What is your favorite video game accessory?

I personally really like the WIi Balance Board.

From my experience. the board worked very well with the games it was programmed to work with, namely Wii Fit, and all the games functioned very well, and were solid experiences. It helped add an extra depth to the motion controls that the Wii remotes already introduced in a way, and it was overall an entertaining accessory to use. 

Also, it was a nice excuse to play video games, and say that you're working out.

Gamecube controller adapter for the Wii U, because we all know that the Gamecube controller is the only true way to play Smash

Not sure if this counts, but Screen Protectors are definitely my favourite accessory!

They prevent your screens from getting scratched and keeps it nice and clean :p

I remember the stock issues, it was impossible to get one for awhile unless you preordered it. -.-

I liked the guitar from Guitar Hero. Made me the legendary guitarist I am today B|

Probably the Motion Plus. It did wonders for games like Wii Sports Resort, Red Steel 2 and Skyward Sword.

Ah yes, perfect for shooting ducks, clay pidgeons, gunmen, and on good occasion, squid kids.
