The Vita-version of Grim Fandango plays so much better with its combination of sticks, buttons and touchscreen than any other version available. Grim Fandango = Vita exclusive confirmed!

Literally nobody cares about Grim Fandango.

I know a lot of people caring about Grim Fandango, so you are obviously wrong.

And you missed the point: plays better than other versions <> exclusive

I didn't miss your point: I responded in a silly manner because your post was silly.

1) You're comparing Grim Fandango to Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. That's like comparing Miyamoto to the guy who created Meme Run.

2) You're comparing full remakes to an inferior port (you have a strange definition of better, the PC version is better). Ocarina of Time 3D and Majora's Mask 3D can only be played on the 3DS.

I'll be honest, there are a good few PS Vita games I want, but I still have a lot more 3DS games. The Vita library is relatively small when you look at how many of their titles are of the niche 'otaku-like' genre.

I totally disagree.

Vita got a great library, and 3ds had a good one too till the end of 2013.

I didn't say anything about the quality of their library.  I was saying more about its variety outside of anime titles and niche titles.  I suppose it could extend to the 3DS to some extent, too but not as much from what I've seen.  Which is why I'm still looking for recommendations for games.

But 3DS has more demakes, therefore it's better.

Salty as always. And lying big time.

Majora´s Mask, Ocarina of time and Star Fox 64 are all superior in 3DS in almost every way to the original, so how are those "demakes"?

However Psvita is full of downgraded multiplatform games that run like shit. Have you take a look to RE: Revelations 2? Or Borderlands? Or Disney Infinity 3.0? Or almost any multiplatform game on Vita? What is really the "demake" console here?

A lovely case of pot calling the kettle black.

More is always better than less and quality is subjective. In other words, it depends on the person, granded that that person actually looks at the titles from a gamer's perspective and doesn't call everything on the console he doesn't like "shit".

So more cancer is good?

Anyway, I think the people have chosen as to what gaming console they think has the best library.

Pretty much any Vita discussion on this website is plagued with "no games" if that is addressed it's "no exclusives"/"inferior cut down ports"/"nobody wants to play indie shit". This is exampled perfectly in this very thread.

The reason I stated GameCube was because of the hate it back back in the early 2000s, not how it is viewed now. (It's amazing how time can change perception, the Vita will be viewed in the same light in 10 years time I'd wager).

The Wii U has a very positive image overall on here from the main userbase. Certainly far better than the Vita image. However as I find anyone hating on Vita is generally very ignorant and clearly has had nowhere near the hands on experience with the system that they claim, if you can't find software you enjoy on Wii U, you've got a very limited scope for the type of games you play.

I still rate my Wii U over my PS4.

I severely doubt that: the Vita doesn't have games like Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Metroid Prime 1, Metroid Prime 2, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Resident Evil 4, Super Mario Sunshine (granted, it's a bit of a black sheep in the Super Mario family), Pikmin 1, Pikmin 2, Viewtiful Joe, Eternal Darkness, Soul Calibur II (best version imo), Animal Crossing and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Man, the GC was a beast! I can't see which Vita games will become that iconic or remembered in the future.

Yes, that was exactly my point. Well done, Alkibiádēs . Really proud of you.

But my first response was due to your silly statement that "OoT 3D and MM 3D are exclusives".

1) Please come out of your Nintendo bubble, there are great games on other platforms, too. Grim Fandango is one of the highest praised point&click adventures of all time, even with its control problems in the original version: http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/grim-fandango

2) Please explain which features make the PC version of Grim Fandango better than the Vita version... I doubt that you have even played any version of the game.

I have played Grim Fandango, thank you very much. As for why it's better: cheaper, better resolution and the mouse is the best controller for such games. Not to mention very few people would agree with you that it comes even remotely close to Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask. That has very little to do with being in a Nintendo bubble as I own all 3 current-gen systems.

Oh and if you want to use metacritic as an example I'll have you know that the Vita version has the lowest user rating of them all. :)

On what other system than the 3DS can you play OoT 3D & MM 3D? You can play Grim Fandango Remastered on just about anything.

All remastered versions were priced the same when they were released... the PSN version was even at an advantage (PS4 + Vita cross-buy). And why even include the price when talking about the quality of the different versions?

The resolution of the backgrounds is the same on all devices / versions: upscaled 640x480. Only the Manny and the NPCs have a slightly higher resolution on PC (remastered) and PS4, due to the smaller screen of the Vita the whole game looks sharper than on TV or PC-monitor. Xenoblade Chronicles also looks better on the controller dosplay of the Wii U than on the big TV screen, the same goes for PS1 games on PSP or Vita instead of big TV screens.

Additional mouse support made the PC-version better, but the game was never planned for mouse controls, so a lot of roooms are difficult with mouse only. That's the beauty of the Vita version... you can combine the direct controls (sticks) and indirect controls (touchscreen) of Manny Calavera perfectly.
