If you check out the official Star Fox Zero page and scroll way down to the end of the page you can clearly read two statements that confirm respectively online and multiplayer capabilities for the game.

Nintendo still hasn't confirmed anything about this news but since the game was delayed it makes sense for Nintendo to improve it not only with betther graphics but also with more game modes. Thoughts ?

Miiverse counts as online feature for every Nintendo game. Multiplayer is coming, but online multiplayer is a no-no by Miyamoto iirc.

This dosent confirm anything.It might be a clue, but it could also simply be miiverse, that needs a internet connection to use.And when i read the title i was so hopeful...

At E3 Miyamoto said that online multiplayer wasn't the priority, but would be considered if the development team felt it would work. Perhaps the delay has given them time to include online multiplayer. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some kind of local multiplayer involving one player on the gamepad against/with players using wiimotes or pro controllers. As for Miyamoto being against online multiplayer, he was producer for Luigi's Mansion 2, which featured online multiplayer.

They already said no online multiplayer so this means nothing

They already talked about local multiplayer, one player piloting arwing on TV with Wii U Pro controller, and one player aiming and shooting with gamepad, so that's almost certain.

Probably there will not be online multiplayer.

The trailer on the website says holiday 2015 so I don't care what this site says
