I am no big Halo fan but this article was indeed misleading and did seem like PR spin to hide the software numbers imo. But I am also happy to still see healthy sales for a franchise that is an excellent FPS even if I am not into it personally. But people on both sides were being defensive in this thread it seems though. But that all makes for good forum activity!

And this is not an attack Snoopy but most of your threads and posts seem baity to me at times like you are trying to stir people up. Not sure if I am just reading you wrong but that is definitely the vibe that I get. Like I can literally read a thread title now and know it is made by you before even opening it lol.

All the years of watching you post , and it is still the same.  You work so hard to try and make anything MS look bad.  I agree, Halo 5 probably didn't sell as well as some others, but the market is completely different now.  People don't have just one gaming choice, they have dozens viat their phones/tablets/pc/consoles.  Even though the overall gaming market is larger, the actual impact of one particular exclusive game title is much smaller.  MS put a good spin on it and overall, any console maker would love to have the Halo franchise exclusive to their console.

Changed the title, although I felt like it was fitting.

No clue what that has to do with me being an ambassador or Zero for that matter. Just comes off as some character assassination.

I dunno about how that sentence works with English grammar, but I think the comma indicates it's the highest rated Xbox One exclusive and the highest rated FPS of 2015, not the highest rated XB1 exclusive FPS of 2015.

It indicates "AND," meaning that it was the highest rated FPS on XBox One, in 2015, and on metatritic.

That means it was not:

1) The highest rated FPS in 2015, on metacritic.

2) The highest rated FPS on XBox One ever, on metacritic.

3) The highest rated FPS on XBox One in 2015, on other review sites.

4) The highest rated game on XBox One in 2015, on metacritic.

 

There are others, but that's how the grammar breaks down.

If they meant "and", then there should be an "and" in front of the last subject. Alternatively the sentence could end with something like "etc." indicating that there's more and implying that an "and" would eventually come.
But if they meant "and", but wrote it like that, then it's improper grammar.

Exactly, as I wrote in a post, if there are only commas and no "and," they are all adjectives describing the same object.
