Good so far:

3DS - First Nintendo handheld since GBA. Downloaded from VC Zelda II, Link's Awakening, Oracle of Ages/Seasons and once again SMB3. On top of that, amazing games from franchises I never played before like SMTIV and FE Awakening. Finally, some Zelda remakes like OoT3D, MM3D and ALBW.

Wii U - A disaster. Expected a lot more from the first HD Nintendo console, at least more than 2D games and constant delays. 3 years and I have only a teaser from the new Zelda game. No name, no release date, no real trailer. Add to that no Paper Mario, no Fire Emblem, no Metroid, and I don't liked the direction it took MK and SSB.

Thank god for VC: ALTTP, MPTrilogy, SMW, Metroid Fusion, Super Metroid, Minish Cap. And soon Skyward Sword, Other M and Spirit Tracks.

I guess you could say my reaction to it has been a bit... delayed

PS Vita, WiiU, and 3DS have been great.

PS4 and Xbox One have underwhelmed. The hardware is actually not bad and very impressive with their features, especially after their updates. It's just that the biggest games have failed me almost every time. Two years in and (aside from Sunset Overdrive and Until Dawn) there is nothing I played that i feel is a classic. Big games like MGSV and Batman were enjoyable but super flawed. I've had fun but mostly with cross gen experiences.

Its been okay, finally playing my Xbox more now that Halo is out. Before it was strictly Dota2 and CSGO on PC. Will probably get a PS4 when uncharted comes out, just to have em all.

OoT3D, MM3D, and ORAS are all better than their originals.

Doh. I even have OOT3D, I just jumped to Xenoblade and the PS2 -> 3DS games.

Not in this dimension. Worse boss battles, worse Bomber's Notebook usage, worse Zora Link swimming.

Wii U:
Great start, can't go wrong with 2D Mario 4 player coop. But dried up really fast and heavily lacking games that interest me, and my only use for it now is playing Mario Party with friends.

PS4:
Slow start but picking up momentum and definitely can see myself using it heavily starting this Friday for some Black Ops 3 zombie mode, and it doesn't seem like i'll be putting down the controller anytime soon in 2016.
