I just pulled out my 2 PSP Systems out of my closet... and wow, nothing but childhood memories for me.  I played games with the original PSP like Gta, Boxing, Racing and some other games. Then on my PSP go i just used it as an MP3 player and picture viewer because where I lived didn't have wifi or high speed internet, just a dial up internet connection, so I couldn't put games on it.  When I moved to a city, I hacked it and put games on it later on. I know the Vita sold a little over ten million, but the PSP sold around the same sales as the PS3 did. I'm curious, how many of you still play the PSP?

Hell yeah. I have a PSP 3000 and a PSP Go. Have tons of games for each. My fave PSP game is probably Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time

I play psp games on my smartphone via ppsspp

I used to have a psp way back when tho. Loved it to death

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

I have some PSP games on my backlog Ill get back to them eventually.

You make it sound like the PSP is this ancient system or something. Talking about childhood memories and the PSP i know this is someone very young. This is just last gen, the PSP was just discontinued half a year ago.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

I play rarely when PC/PS3/PS2 get old, but I watch movies and tv shows on it occasionally.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

I've considered buying a PSP for the past few months quite a few times because I wanted to play classics I never played when I was younger like LocoRoco, Patapon, Monster Hunter, etc. But Sony still keeps on trying to sell them for $150 on Amazon even though that's only $50 less than a PS Vita which HAS backwards compatibility.

Like, come on now.

Recently I've had the desire to go out and buy a PSP again. Had one a while ago but sold it. Never felt like I unlocked its full potential. Would totally play the hell out of it now.

PSvita is only sort of BC.  It's digital only and not all games were even released digital and there are some where it's not allowed, prices are hit and miss but you are at their mercy.

I use it a lot to play Ps1, Snes and GBA games.

I didn´t like many games of the console, but is good hardware for emulators and Ps1 eboots.
