Sony should really put more focus on the SW bundle. 1 $300 PS4 bundle against several X1 bundles of the same price is a tough battle for Sony.

No, what he meant was:

For BF, MS is reducing every single X1 bundle out there by 50 dollars. We did not know this until today. Before, it was supposed to only be the Gears bundle. For now, all we know about Sony's BF is that the NDC bundle will be reduced by 50 dollars, nothing known about the pricing of other bundles. They should at least cut the standard SW one too, IMO. Keep the LEs at their price if they so desire.

Also MS should make a regular halo bundle for $350 with halo mcc and halo 5.

There aren't going to be several X1 bundles at 300, just Gears. The others will be reduced too but they're more expensive to begin with, so they'll be 350, 400 and 450. But yes, they should do that with the standard SW bundle.

No, it's a tough battle for MS. I find these posts weird as hell.

With the way things are going and how the gears bundle and other xbone bundles are rising Microsoft might sneak the victory in November. Sony is just sitting on their arse and are simply going for the profit model once again this year. No deals on amazon, if they lose November npd than they only have themselves to blame.

Sony aren't stupid anough to throw profits away for the sake of winning a month, especially when whilst not throwing profits away they easily outsell their competators every single day on Amazon. Every time I read comments like this I hear a little 'snap' in my head as if all my senses have been challenged to a dual by some snapping, web-footed blancmange monster (it's the only way I can describe it) ... *twitch* ... *snap*.

Seems to be working fine for them so far. MS is covering the cost of kkks of games and still behind. Even if they end up snatching a small victory thanks to BF, it's not worth it. Keeping a significant gap + profit > losing money just for NPD. The SW week already gave the PS4 a big headstart in Nov numbers thanks to the 2 bundles. MS is the one that needs to sweat to catch up.

*face palm*

"are simply going for the profit model"

I'm sorry but you just spouted out a load of nonsense.

What exactly do you think MS and Sony are trying to do? Chuck away as much money as they can?

Every action that a company will make is designed to maximise profits even if it benefits them further down the line.

You can see his point though. All you have to do is look at this months Amazon to see how Sony have struggled against all those fantastic XB1 bundles ...
