Forums - Gaming Discussion - Amazon US November monthly bestsellers and general Amazon-based discussion.

Target and Walmart are also the only ones selling X1 cheaper than PS4 during BF (at least so far). That should tell you a thing or two about them (not that it was necessary after looking at previous years). Stick with Amazon for measuring sales unless others have special deals; which is not the case, as Amazon has the same deals right now.

Software NPD will be ironic. Free game promo (+ for X1) and PS4 bundled copies (- for PS4) means X1 will probably be ahead on Blops and Battlefront (in the public chart, not overall numbers), which Sony has the marketing for, while F4, which MS has the marketing for, will probably have PS4 as the leading version.

Honestly, I think Target is bribed by MS. They always promote xbox more than playstation or nintendo; and the floor space is always shit for sony, while the xbox row is organized with an actual demo kiosk.

I wouldn't be surprised if Target places xb1 higher in lists intentionally.

There's certainly some form of "partnership" as they also have the best X1 BF deal available this year. Last year they also had a 50 dollar gift card on top of the regular BF discount, as well as being the only system in the cover of the ad. This year there's an even bigger gap between their X1 deal and the others.. We know where Greenberg will be taking his BF twitter pictures

Can MS can report games that they pretty much buy for the consumer as sales?

They are counted as regular (not bundled) sales, yes.

4 hours after last update:

#10 PS4 Star Wars Standard Bundle (up 2)
#14 PS4 Star Wars LE Bundle (up 1)
#16 PS4 Black Ops Bundle (up 1)
#22 XB1 Gears Bundle (same)
#25 XB1 Fallout Bundle (same)
#42 PS4 Nathan Drake Bundle (down 2)
#58 XB1 Three Games Bundle (down 6)
#64 XB1 Madden Bundle (same)

PS4 - 4 bundles, 4 in the top 100
XB1 - 13 bundles, 4 in the top 100

XB1 Deals:

Gears Bundle + Black Ops 3
Madden Bundle + Free Game Of Choice
Halo Bundle + Free Game Of Choice
FIFA Bundle + Fallout 4
Three Game Bundle + Halo 5
LEGO Bundle + Minecraft Story Mode
Kinect Bundle + Free Game Of Choice
Fallout Bundle + Free Game Of Choice

PS4 Deals:

None at the moment

I think it's obvious that the reason Sony have removed those deals from the Nathan drake Bundle is specifically to help boost the three other bundles and deliberately slow down the sales of the Nathan Drake Bundle. Why 'deliberately'? Think Black Friday and which PS4 bundle has been highlighted the most.

The PS5 Exists.

You better believe it. Considering the free game deals they had this month, they're footing the bill for a significant amount of their attach rates.
