Look at this, this must mean all other major retailers have to have the same or better deals since that is now meijer and gamestop.

I wonder what Sony are preparing for BF. Microsoft is definitely going big and probably for the last time but Sony might choose to cut the costs since it really doesn't need to make a big effort to sell consoles.

If last year is anything to go by, they will do something like $300 console with 2 games. Stock will be limited and probably sell out very quickly.

And if I'm right about the PS4 actually being $300 then Sony can start bundling TLOUR in again (with one extra game) for $300. I think that's why they dropped the TLOUR bundle. It would have confused matters because they already had a bundle for $350. They want to perpetuate the idea that the $350 bundles come with a FREE game when in actual fact the bundle is $300 with a $50 game. I just feel so convinced of this.

I don't think you're right, in that I don't think we're going to see the base $300 retail price for PS4 until their slim redesign comes out late next year. But you are right in a sense that Sony can easily afford to sell at $300, which means they can do short term BF-like things and sell PS4's at $300 and even include retailer gift cards. Cyber monday will have these sorts of big deals. And I expect there will be retailer deals through December where you can get a $300 PS4 "while stocks last". This is probably the holiday where Sony wants to completely establish PS4's momentum with no possibility of Xb one coming back at it for the rest of the generation.

I think psychologically Xb 360 scared the pants of Sony and they never want to come close to that situation again. Which means being the market leader in the USA by a decent margin. Xb one winning in the USA may have been a situation to which Sony was resigned at the beginning of the generation, or just before it began, but once they got a lead I think they decided they could not let Xb one come back and take the lead. MS is far to big and far too dangerous to give them the opportunity to be the market leader. Because when they become the market leader they don't just beat everyone else, they destroy them with ruthless sociopathic focus.

#11 PS4 Black Ops Bundle (down 2)
#17 XB1 Gears Bundle (up 24)
#22 PS4 Nathan Drake Bundle (down 1)
#28 PS4 Star Wars Bundle (down 1) [Out of stock until the 17th]
#34 PS4 Star Wars Standard Bundle (same)
#35 XB1 Fallout Bundle (up 1)
#39 XB1 Kinect Bundle (up 5)
#46 XB1 Madden Bundle (up 24)
#48 XB1 Three Games Bundle (up 33)
#53 XB1 Halo Bundle (up 1)
#86 XB1 Lego Bundle (new-entry)
#99 PS4 Fool's Edition (down 10)

PS4 - 5 bundles, 4 in the top 100 (Plus Standalone)
XB1 - 15 bundles, 7 in the top 100

Will Sony respond to the XB1 deal or wait for it to expire? I think they should respond by adding TLOUR to every bundle because they can't be certain that MS won't suddenly announce an extention of the deal.

XB1 Bundles. Why do you think they've all jumped up so much:

What the hell is a "non-refurbished Console"?
Are they reselling returned/used consoles without even checking them?

new console.

Tomorrow.

Im telling you guys, i wasnt planning on getting the Xbox One but that deal was just too fucking great to let it pass.

Also, the Gears bundle specifically was the best of the bunch because its the only bundle at 350$, the rest is at 400$+.

I just cant see how Amazon could top that deal off, thats why i didnt wait till Black Friday to see whats up.

Wow I'd say ps4 and XBO are selling just about even right now in the hourly. Ps4's bundles are ahead but XBO has so many bundles in the top 100.

My god that Amazon chart is loaded with ps4/xb1 bundles. This November will be one for the history books. Batman Vs superman and goku vs vegeta level stuff.

Who will win? Sony and their cod/Star Wars bundles or Microsoft's huge discounts/sales/offers?
At this rate I wouldn't be shocked if both sold a million or more this month.

The only thing that is important for the PS4s price, is the MSRP for retailers. And right now it is $349.99, so a $50 price cut. An additional price cut would be just that, additional. I don't suspect they will lower the MSRP again for at least a year.
