This was brought up before. It's not cheaper. I'm seeing the same price its always been. So why are they really hiding the price? Do they mean the MSRP before Sony drop the price? If so, that still wouldn't make any sense since the MSRP is now $50 cheaper.

Somewhat more OT. Will Sony ever go back to having a plain boxed (i.e. Fool's edition) PS4 as the main sku? I suppose if Sony was to sell the fool's edition at $329 it might become the main sku, and at the same time it would still make buying a bundle for a game you actually want a good value proposition. Of course if they sell a plain boxed PS4 with a choose 2 out of 6 games option for $350, that might become the main sku.

gg has been predicting a $300 standalone for a while know. He believes that the $50 pricecut with one game disguises the fact that's it's a really a $100 pricecut.
