Of course, but the final tally of bundles provides little to no useful information, essentially unprocessed data. It would be more englightening and revealing to see the density of bundles in certain brackets. If we saw cluster of bundles, in a traling bracket, that were traling a singular bundle, in a leading bracket, we would have a clearer picture of the sales competition.

It might work for you but not me. You can get a better, quicker and more accurate picture looking at the chart than the method you suggested. It's purely to show the amount of bundles in the top 100, which for me goes nicely with the more accurate breakdown with the chart.

I don't think anybody here looks at the total bundles in the top 100 and think "6 XB1s and 6 PS4s in the top 100, it's pretty even", they look at the chart and quickly deduce what the current situation is. Although I get what you trying to do and in theory it sounds good but practically it's not needed.

It's certainly not a necessity: look at what we're doing with our time lol. However, it would be a way to make that information provide insight, rather than just give a 300,000 foot perspective. It really comes down to GG's aim with listing the bundle totals.

And that brings me to Tomb Raider. Popular series, but looking at NPD data going back to the PS1, the series doesn't appear to have any measurable impact on hardware sales. It probably does move some hardware given that it's a well-known and still reasonably popular IP, but the increases are small enough to where they're washed out in the monthly tracking. It's impossible to discern what's due to ordinary week-to-week random fluctations and what's due to a modest 25% increase in sales in a single week. Now that we're going into the holidays, the effects of software on sales will be even harder to determine, as we have to look at previous holidays to see if there's any appreciable YoY increases that cannot also be attributed at least in part to price cuts and big holiday sales. TR could theoretically move 20-30k units (just to throw out a plausible figure for a modest system-seller), which would have a barely measurable effect on a non-holiday month and would be totally lost in the massive sales figures that we see from major systems in November (the XBO will likely sell over 750k and the PS4 well over one million). And going back to Halo 5, if it does have a residual effect on XBO sales, that too will almost certainly be washed out due to holiday sales.

Do you think that MS could of bought TR exclusive rights to take the edge off Uncharted 4. Sony not playing to their advantage of holding the TR as an exclusive, moved Uncharted to March just to fuck with them? The result is that the effectiveness of having TR as an exclusive is seriously reduced.

I mean if the data shows that TR doesn't shift consoles, why else would MS buy the timed exclusivity?

I'm thinking about to a Amazon thread for the European stores. Is there any interest in this? If so I will create one.

I would like this!

NFS for ps4 is at #61 now, xone version out of top 100. Flop confirmed?

Reading the reviews it's not hard to see.

#2: Rubber band AI

#3: Dumb cut scenes/ FMV
