Also the wii u seems to do good. According to vgchatz it did around 140k bf week in the US. So maybe this year it can do 180-200k?

Sony needn't respond to anything. They are in a comfy position, handily outselling their competition. Why should they do anything about one day? They've not only been ahead the entire month, they've cut the price, are still making money, and will remain ahead in the US. A win-win situation regardless of Black Friday.


Well BF is a huge day for sales this month. More than 50% of the month sales come from this day.

Dude.. You looked at best buy sorted by best match. When sorted by best selling, ps4 is dominating. 4 bundles ahead of the first X1 bundle.
Anyway I suggest sticking with Amazon because they have weekly and monthly charts. Only having hourlies makes the others too unreliable

No, how do you actually find it? I don't want the link I want to know how you find that section on all the sites like Gamestop. I get this:

Do you think they care about losing BF or stick to their plan to maximise their profits?

Of course PS4 fans want to win BF but Sony will prioritise profit. If they feel that winning BF by dropping price will increase install base sufficiently to maximise profits they will do it. It's not has simple has selling more equals more profits, there are many factors to consider.

Sony do not have the same mentality as us.
