I think people are being a bit harsh on Fallout 4's graphics. It really looks pretty darn good.

It's a day one for me no matter the visuals anyway ( though they are pretty decent for bethesda), 10 days left, cant wait ! I hope i will be as pleased as i have been with Skyrim, my first Fallout

It will be a pleasant world to visit, i like the atmosphere, the old ones seemed too much grey

I can't wait. Skyrim looked rough in many spots... And it's the best game I have ever played. Fallout 4 is gonna look great, and play better.

This looks great to me. But what do I know, I've been playing Broken age, The crew and Minecraft lately. The only thing that worries me is 400 hours of gameplay. I want to explore on my own without a quest peddler at every corner. Hopefully they mean lots of interesting things to find, not thousands of fetch quests.

The enhanced lighting and expanded color palette make all the difference in the world with this game. It has such a vibrant and warm tone to it compared to the drab gray, green and brown hues of its predecessors.

Indeed, that's the flaw that always kept me away from it's predecessors.

It's so much more comfortable a world full of life ( yeah i know it's not supposed to be but still )

It still looks last gen for me, I mean they are still using the same old engine with some tweaks (don't argue with me on that, at the core it is still the same old engine regardless of what you think you heard). I'm most likely going to play it two months after release once I;m done with Legacy of the Void and then hopefully by then the mod tools will be released and a steady stream of mods to come in the weeks after the tools are handed out and I'll probably be tweaking the visuals and gameplay here and there like I did with previous Bethesda games.

I will say despite my hate for megatextures (megatextures being super ugly up close), I found Wolfenstein to look better in some areas for some textures compared to what I;ve seen from Fallout 4, though that will likely change once texture mods become a thing.

I honestly don't see a point nor a reason for those fine with the game as is to argue with those that don't, you aren't going to sway those that expected more or appreciate adding more (like myself who loves modding both gameplay and visuals when given the option) into agreeing or adopting your point of view, you are already happy so stay happy and just enjoy the game, someone's opinion shouldn't harm your intention of fun you're likely to get from the game you're already hyped for.
