No idea what Fifa 16 sold but according to the financial result breakdown ( http://files.shareholder.com/downloads/ERTS/3870278849x0x857525/97870E68-0A23-4D1F-A10F-932661982AF5/Q2_FY16_Earnings_Release.pdf  go to page 16 ) 360 and PS3 sales are down 50% on EA's first quarter (april-june) even with the release of Fifa and Madden and PS4 and Xone are down 30%.

it will crush 10 million sales easily. the Force Awakens is a massive marketing campaign by its self, its beta was a huge success, Sony and EA seem to be going all out in marketing, AND the game is pretty great actually. i think it will have a big opening, not massive, but its legs will continue to be strong, specially as the movie comes along. 

Sony is also bundling the hell out of this. a Limited Edition bundle, and a Standard bundle which i am betting will be their focus this holiday season. this has the chance to be EA's biggest shooter since Battlefield 3. 

Except they said that monthly average of FIFA players increased 30% YoY.

Probably gonna blame it on Mirror's Edge development and cancel it before release.

EA Access imo is going to hurt them in the long run. Why buy some of their games when you can just pay 5 dollars one month and play it then.

Players does not equal sales or in that case this years sales where 30% of last years and that figure is the cumulative result.

I also hope they can go over the 10 million mark but only if the reason for that is a massive price drop after a low launch sales numbers.
