And the problem is?

That we're suppose to believe that this young man can save an entire world. In real life, there's no way a kid that effeminate could do such a thing. Testosterone is needed for hand to hand combat. It's why Beiber would be the first to go in a real zombie apocalypse.

Lagertha disapproves, as well as Lady Brienne

But seriously, they should really stop feminising him - young people can fight (Miyamoto Musashi won his first duel at age of 13), but making Link more and more looking like a girl as years go on is becoming quite silly.

I totally agree. Somewhere between FF and Bloodborne would be awesome. Full orchestration, blood, dramatic cutscenes etc. It'll never happen though.

And thank god for that.

Hahahaha

I agree, but that comparision made me laugh.

Why does everyone think Link looks like a girl? o.o does a guy have to have a super steroid-pumped face to look like a male these days? v.v XD

Well Link always been androgynous, so I wouldn't read into those comments very much.

I think androgyny is a Japanese thing, the most girly looking guys in gaming usually come from JRPG's like final fantasy, Tale's, Dragon quest etc. I also think the average Japanese male looks more feminine than we do, for example just take a look at smash bro's creator masahiro sakurai, gymnast kohei uchimura and actor yamada yuki below. Androgyny is part of japanese culture and Nintendo are japanese so i don't think links appearance will ever change. I mean has anyone ever seen a butch japanese male protagonist in any game? (Snake doesn't count because he isn't ethnically japanese).

While I don't disagree with you as a whole, but there are several masculine JP video game characters. They are typically fitting a gangster or thug stereotype though.

A manly Link would look strange tbh! A Link in his late teens or early 20s is the best way to go imo.

I have never played yakuza so i only see pretty boys when i play Japanese games. I don't mind, it makes a change from playing as some musclebound brute.

An american action hero.

A japanese idea of an action hero.
