Looks fun. The enemy design is interesting, look like some very "low tech high tech" with a bit of magic mixed on it.

I had this discussion with Cloudman just a bit ago. It looks more like Drakengard 3 to me, but I understand a lot of people ignored that game. |
And now I wanna play Drakengard 3... : X Thanks...

Although it just bothers me how her weapons just float behind her. Couldn't they just give her a sheath or something? It just looks really weird and comes off as a bit cheap. : / |
Given how different the weapon types were in the original (from dagger to omg-cloud-looks-like-a-wuss-now) it would be hard to make everyone of them fit the model.

Yeah, that's true. Someone mentioned there was weapon switching, so having all that present on the character would be kinda hard aside from them appearing out of nowhere.

Looks really nice.
Anyone here who's played the original Nier? I'm thinking of getting it, unless there are some serious flaws in the game mechanics

I don't know what you classify as serious flaws in the game mechanics, but I think it's a lovely game. Outside of some of the optional fetch/side quests, I can't think of anything that would make people too upset.

Trust me, I really wanted to play D3. I still want to play it but it was released too late on the wrong console with too many issues. If it ever releases on a proper platform I will be the first to buy it.
And it still looks like a Platinum game since this is how all of Platinums games looks. That doesn't exclude that it also looks like Drakengard, which is natural since it's basically the same.
