Now,as their first mobile game, i think it was an excellent choice.Spemanig has already said pretty much what i think the game is going to be and all.I think this game will be a almost sure hit in Japan, since it was probably focused on that country, so for the west its going to be harder sell, but we still need to see more about the game. About My Nintendo, it is very ineteresting, specially about the parts of getting points(to redeem rewards) through playing.I always had the idea, and romanced about it, that it was the natural evolution of the trophies and achievements. Not only it would give incentive to play to 100% complete it, but also would give an incentive to take out th most of your game and be rewarded with possible rewards!I just hope that one of the My Nintendo rewards are free games, the part that i loved most about Club Nintendo.Or that you could buy a free game through buying the discount coupons, and that they stack up to the point that you dont have to pay a cent for the game |
If it's a Free to Play game (or at least free to start) it will sell well in the West. People loved the Miis during the Wii/DS era, and that audience is now on mobile. And Nintendo fans will download it, anyway.
I like the idea for cumulative discounts too. I suppose they would have a limit (like some games would be able to take a 33% discount max while others would get a 80-90%), but I also I'm interested in some physical goodies. I still want some Nintendo Club items, I would have paid for them :(
