It really depends on how successful the Xbox One sells.. the longer it drags out, the more unlikely it will happen, as the PS4 needs to consistently sell at least 2 as much in order to meet the ratio

Definitely possible, but I'm not so sure at the moment :/

no.  PS4 outsold X1 every week last year according to VGC.  I was referring to the weekly sales gap shrinking around the holidays.  It's over 2:1 during most regular weeks.  During the holidays the PS4 only outpaces it around 1.2:1 or something during some weeks is all I was saying so the 2:1 gap would be pushed back if that type of ratio is achieved.
