3D Wonder Boy In Monster World could be great game.

A proper modern Pitfal game would be pretty cool!

Tennis for Two. In a world ravaged by war, humanity finds itself at the brink of extintion after nuclear war. The shape of the planet has completely changed after a catastrophic series of geological events, caused by the destruction of the tectonic plates by earthquake weapons. The few groups remaining, fearing that more death could cause the end of the human species, decide to resolve their differences in duels. Not swordfights, not gunfights... but tennis fights. Tennis is the only sport humanity remembers from its glory days, and has been turned into a massive cult. Those who play are judged by the gods of tennis, and a point is enough to decide glory or shame.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Most of the games I would like to play on the NES have been rereleased on the VC, so I actually don't have any that I can think of..

Not really. Games of the first generations are good for what they are as-is. It is cool to see some new games in this old timey style come out but the old classics and franchises don't need continuations.

E.T. the game *runs*

I liked the Wonderboy game on SG-1000. Pretty neat game for what it was. The music will get in your head...it's the only song in the whole game!
