I've always noticed a lot more uproar on the internet when Nintendo does it compared to Sony, Square-Enix (you weren't allowed to monetize any footage of Dragon Quest Heroes on youtube whether it was a review or let's play) and other companies though.

Nintendo is far more affressive when it comes to blocking content though. They even blocked that Mario 64 in unreal engine. They do it way too much and it doesn't make sense because more than anyone else, people need to see others playing Nintendo games.

Square-Enix, Konami and Sony do it pretty often as well... Some people just have double standards. How is Mario 64 in unreal engine going to help the sales of Nintendo anyway? I'm against companies taking down reviews, discussions, analyses, top 10s, etc., but I could care less for illegal recreations and let's plays. I don't believe people should be able to profit from just playing a game. They can open a patreon account or take sponsor money for all I care, but they don't deserve ad-revenue from games they don't own the IP from.
