Either way i am glad that i do not won an X1 and never will.There is not need to when it won't get much support.
They honestly should just cut a deal with Nintendo.
Nintendo agrees to use Windows OS on their console/portable NX, give Windows Phone some app loving, and MS agrees to back Nintendo in the console race with things like Halo and a Nintendo themed version of Minecraft.
I don't think MS' heart is really into it, and they're not making the progress they would like. The whole reason they got into the game industry was because they were worried Sony could leverage the Playstation brand against the Windows OS-monopoly, but that was obviously a laughably off-base concern (they should have been paying attention to Apple and Google instead).

The way I see MS doing things is they try to make Windows 10 and Xbox Live their gaming platform. MS doesn't care what device you use to play their games be it PC, Tablets/Phones or consoles.I think they will continue to make consoles just like they will continue to make phones/tablets just to reach more people. MS isn't stupid like many think, they know not everyone will buy a PC to play games so they'll continue with consoles.
One other thing to remember, they are making hardware more that ever. With their brand new line of laptops and phones I think MS will use that knowledge to have something that'll put Windows 10 and Xbox Live in front of family TVs. It's no wonder their tablets and phones are this powerful, they wand W10 on every devices, that's their platform, Xbox Live is their gaming platform.

Yeah I should have clearified what I meant.That is why I don't need one because there is a huge lack of exclusive games.The ones that are there do not interest me except QB,which seems like it will never release and will most likely go to PC too.

The problem is no one is buying those devices on a mainstream level with Apple and Droid dominating those markets.Their phone is another Zune at this point and that Surface tablet is not recognizable.
Seems now is the good time for a third console manufactore to jump in like MS did with Segas failure. I hope SAMSUNG sniffs the blood here

Alan Wake went to PC so it's very likely Quantum Break will too.
