Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Does the removal of lingerie outfits from Fatal Frame in the West annoy you at all?

In principle, yes, it annoys me, the game is rated m why bother censoring something this innocuous? In practice, I'd probably have never used the costumes anyway and the lack of a physical release in the US bugs me far more and the reason I won't be picking it up right now, if ever.

Maybe if I was 12. So no.

Some of you act like the game was a bonus and you were intending on buying it just to see an animated lingerie model.

Still buying the game because, you know, the game is still there.

while this doesn't turn me entirely from getting the game its gonna become an annoying trend that will eventually be taken to far by removing gameplay mechanics (like the face touching in Fire Emblem) or removing story elements cause they aint "polically correct" or some stupid crap like that.

i say we should complain to NoA social media accounts, get a hashtag start, start peitions to make the bikings free DLC.

i want this crap to stop before NoA takes to far and we end up getting worse games cause of it.

hope this causes a blacklash big enough to the point that Nintendo realizes how dumb this was and never does again cause i am tired of having content removed from english i just want to have a english version of the same exact game with all content not changed.

Not enough people care about the game to cause a big backlash.

that's sadly true and its probably gonna be taken to far to cause blacklash to happened.

Um this is the exception not the rule from NOA last few years. The Last Story has raging boner and virgin gags. Feeling up tits gag. Topless fairy in Zelda TP. Super skimpy outfits in Xenoblade on Wii. Naked Bayonetta in 2 and skimpy outfits Nintendo told PG to have her wear less. Boobs popping out of clothing in PXZ on 3DS. They published Ninja Gaiden 3 and in Hyrules Warriors skimpy outfits abound. So whatever NOA reasoning was this is not typical of them.

that was NoE for the last story that localized that game not NoA and i don't think NoA published PxZ pretty sure that was Bandai BNamco. On the other hand with Bravely Default NoA has some of the outfits redesign and changed the characters age to 18 (though i can see and even kinda agree with that change) and with Bayonetta i believe that just NoJ that told him to have Bayonetta wear less and i think Platinum does the localization for all of their games even the one's published by a major publisher.

sorry no buy from me, i wait for the emu to be complete and get the jap version

sorry nintendo once again make some stupid decision no wonder wiiu fail rock solid.... (guess it deserve to fail then since they dont give a c**** about the fan)

This, except that I won't even consider picking it up, a big publisher trying to pass the storage cost to me is something I'm not going to support.

NOE did FF as well. NOA still allowed all that to be left in. So again it's the exception.

but NoE probably just copy and pasted NoA's work on to the european copies the game just like what NoA did with Xenoblade just took NoE's work and released in North America and how many more "exceptions" does this have to happen for a blacklash to happen whatever they removed story elements and gameplay mechanics from Fire Emblem Fates like the option to marry the step siblings or the face touching mini game or removing reilgion references in games once again cause i am afraid they will do that to Xenoblade X.
