And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

1-3 million? Thats it? China has a population of 1.3 BILLION. You think only .07% of the population will buy a Wii? And not everyone has a Vii. The Vii is utter crap. It has a couple games on it and thats it. Its a supreme ripoff.
The real reason why most people won't buy a Wii is because China is a generally poor country. In 1998, China had a GDP of only $3,117 where the US had a GDP of $27,331 .
EDIT: Even if only 1% of the population of China buys a Wii, that is still 13 million consoles sold.

It could do well in Korea. The DS sold a million in less than a year.
I thought the same as everybody else about Resident Evil 4. Wtf.
side note: If they're planning on taking on South Korea, then, that must mean they've got some serious RPGs in store. You can only do well in Korea if you've got some serious RPG action under your belt.

If true, 49.044.790 (population of SK) wii's will be sold.
That would be nice, and earlier than I expected. It could also explain why we're seeing such low Wii supply in USA even with the launch of a big game (along with the "just enough supply to hit the forecast" theory which also sounds good right now).
I wonder if the Chinese launch would happen at the same time? Maybe not, so that they don't have to stockpile so many Wiis for the two launches in such a short period. I think the Chinese launch will also be dependent on some Chinese-oriented games getting finished, but I haven't seen any news about those lately.
