Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo NX Name

NES7 or N7 would be okay, I feel it should be something with their name in it.

If they go with N7, EA would sue them for copyright infringement (after the Mass Effect franchise).

Some time ago we had a similar thread and I said "Nintendo Home" for the home console version and "Nintendo Pocket/Nintendo Go" for the handheld. If it's only one system acting as both, they could name it "Nintendo Duo or Dual".

Please excuse my bad English.

Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB

Is the N7 really copyrighted? Have you seem the C logo next to the N7 emblem on offical stuff? They could trademark it. Which is the design of the logo. But not copyright it. It's too generic.

Well, it's true that I haven't seen the copyright logo, but it's also true that most of the time I've seen it was on game scans or CGI videos, where they wouldn't put it. We should read the game credits to see if it's copyrighted ot not, but I would be very surprised if a big american company like EA used it to promote one of its products without taking the necessary steps to forbid anyone else use it.

Also, while it can be generic, both the game and console are videogame related products from rival companies, so in case of a trial any judge would rule in favor of EA.

New Super Wii U

Switch!!!

Nintendo NX One?

I think since they are supposed to start a new chapter, something that signifies a new change should be in the name. I always liked Nintendo Revolution. Nintendo Next (N squared) could be cool too.

Nintendo NX = Nintendo Nexus

SteamMyAnimeList and Twitter - PSN: Gustavo_Valim - Switch FC: 6390-8693-0129 (=^・ω・^=)

It may be called the Nintendo Now. But it will play all your 3ds games on the tv and most games will be via download. Nintendo will ditch CD/DVD in favor for a fast solid state cartridge drive to eliminate load time.
