If they go with N7, EA would sue them for copyright infringement (after the Mass Effect franchise).
Some time ago we had a similar thread and I said "Nintendo Home" for the home console version and "Nintendo Pocket/Nintendo Go" for the handheld. If it's only one system acting as both, they could name it "Nintendo Duo or Dual".

Is the N7 really copyrighted? Have you seem the C logo next to the N7 emblem on offical stuff? They could trademark it. Which is the design of the logo. But not copyright it. It's too generic.

Well, it's true that I haven't seen the copyright logo, but it's also true that most of the time I've seen it was on game scans or CGI videos, where they wouldn't put it. We should read the game credits to see if it's copyrighted ot not, but I would be very surprised if a big american company like EA used it to promote one of its products without taking the necessary steps to forbid anyone else use it.
Also, while it can be generic, both the game and console are videogame related products from rival companies, so in case of a trial any judge would rule in favor of EA.
