if its remade from the ground up like WWHD was, then it has the potential to be pretty good. that's what im hoping it is and not just upscaled and called ''hd''

Calling WWHD remade from the ground up is exagerating. It has updated models and textures, but they certainly don't seem remade from the ground up.

Models are all the same; Textures are the same as well, they reused the same textures, but at a higher resolution I believe. Most of the difference in visuals is all due to the lighting and the higher resolution.

Besides the graphical changes, I really hope they do something to speed up the mandatory wolf parts, just like they did with the triforce quest and sailing in WWHD.

I want the UI and controls from Wind Waker HD as long as it makes sense.

I don't think anything substantial outside of a massive visual overhaul. The biggest problems with TP are much too ingrained into the core design of the game to reasonably expect them to be fixed.

You example of a seemless world won't happen, for example. The maps are devided into separate rooms. They weren't designed to be connected like that, to taping them together like that would very likely require a massive redesign of the map to accomidate this so that walls don't overlap, etc. That is just too much work for something like this. That's more than MM3D had in and of itself.

are you sure it would be hard to connect the parts in one big open world? I dont think, you could pretty much cop&paste them and just need to rework the "connections". I did some mapping for counter strike (hammer editor) and something like this really isnt hard to do.

They can go back to the NGC controls for a start - this game was designed for GC and I personally think it's better
on GC than Wii...

I'd like one mission that takes place in Midna's world, after the game. Her human form is wasted, since it's only in the cutscene. The rest is the usual new textures and models. Deal with annoying stuff. Like the tutorial. Truncate the drop mission bits. Allow the Flipped and unflipped world options.

Nothing too substantial, I guess, just updated graphics, and a few bonus modes.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I'm 100% sure. You can't copy and paste them. The level design wasn't designed with that in mind. It's not a simple copy paste at all.

-Give me the choice between map flips, 3rd person aiming and 1st person, etc
-More bugs to collect, more fish to catch
-A new collectible to fill out the world with.
-A hero mode where enemies dish out twice as many hearts, and take twice as many hits
-The obvious graphics and model remaster

-Zelda U Demo

bet: lost

if Nintendo wants to shut people up about Zelda U skipping the Wii U they need to do this.
