Well that was a great surprise! 

I didn't know this was coming up but I just received 3 demo codes for The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes.

It's good for some local co-op (which I can't really try out since I don't know anyone with a 3DS) and for some online co-op play during these hours:

Oct 16th between 5 PM and 10 PMPT
Oct 17th between 5 PM and 10 PM PT
Oct 18th between 7 AM and 12 PM PT

Yup. I was sent three codes as well. Won't be needing the other 2 so I could send them to a couple people if they want.

If you subscribed for reieiving Nintendo news, you have a random chance of getting the codes, but not always.. really random

I was able to get 3DS Smash and MH4U demo codes like this as well
