I don't agree with your opinion.
As someone who was complaining about the lack of voice chat prior to launch, I think the game is still fine without it.

At times you can get matched up with bad players but this goes for any online multiplayer game.
If you're having trouble ranking up, you can always use a usb drive to overwrite your save file as a means to restore your rank.

You think voice chat would help you "coordinate" any better? Obviously, you haven't played COD or Halo. Unless you're with friends, telling someone else what to do isn't going to matter. No one cares.

To be quite honest, i dont think that voice chat would make that much of a difference, specially in the example you gave.If the players are doing stupid decisions, its probably because they are bad at the game, or they are new, and seeing as they probably lack basic skills to be decent players, coordinating strategies through voice chat would aid nothing.Voice chat would only improve the gameplay with players that already have an idea of what to do, and even then i dont think is necessary, with all the tools that splatoon offers

Wow, firey. x ) I think we can all say we have been there when we have weaker players on the team, and it just suucks... Sometimes I have to carry my team, and I am not the kind to take charge in battle. I'm fine with no VC though. Otherwise, I may be cursing at people LOL.
Also, depending on the ranked mode, they may be gathering paint to use missile attacks, which is not a bad idea to do in splatzones... o: people do it a lot.

alright everyone is actually making really good points about why VC is not really needed. But I would still like the option. And no I don't think the game sucks anymore I was just raging because I had off work today and wanted to make A rank lol. And I had never played with such morons before.
