It would be funny, if there is no TP HD, no new Nintendo Direct, nothing. Just a regular maintenance works and bunch of wii releases via e-shop.

It very possible, I don't expecting Nintendo Direct today, but expect in end of October or November.

I still don't believe TP HD exists because it's too good to be true. But man I hope I'm proved wrong because  I've never played much of TP before ( or Skyward sword)

Of Course, this is just a rumor, but it gives hope that maybe it's real thing.

We have steady cycle with new ideas (ALBW and Zelda) regardless remakes and spin-offs (only real spinoff is Hyrule Warriors), and almost every (new) Zelda game had a delay.

Do you call 5 years "steady"? Not in this life.

Zelda TP (2006) - Zelda SS (2011) - ZeldaU (2016) - it seems like steady cycle.

That's a lazy cycle. A steady cycle is OoT (1998) - Majora's Mask (2000) - The Wind Waker (2002-2003) - Twilight Princess (2005 - original intended release date)

You cant compare developing game from 5 and 6 generation with developing game from 7 and 8 generation.

No, I actually can. 3DMario team has being doing great games since the N64 in a steady cycle. If the Zelda team can't do is not because of the tech but because of their problems with priorities.

You cant compare development of 3D Mario game and Zelda game, totally different things.

"You said that Nintendo releases Zelda games regularly. We do release them regularly, but we don’t release them that often. Mario games, if you push to get it done, you can finish it in a year. Zelda games take at least three years to complete. At the same time, I’m getting pushed to release them quicker but the users are expecting bigger experiences. And those things don’t match up. So I struggle with that all the time. I have no idea what I’m supposed to do to meet both of those demands."

Oot and MM use the same engine as you well know so that's why there is a shorter tome span. We do not want a yearly annulized zelda. Give me new engines/ experiences every few years please
