There was also TLoZ: Four Swords Anniversary Edition in 2011 for DSi/3DS. Digital only, but still, a new release. They really went all out in 2011.

Well it WAS the 25th Anniversary of the franchise, so they HAD to go all out.....
Actually come to think of it...
Hyrule Warriors Legends, Twilight Princess HD remake, and Zelda Wii U would be a killer lineup for the 30th Anniversary next year!

Some valid points in there, but I felt they very quickly descended into nit-picking. Also, blaming Miyamoto for the lack of orchestrated music is lazy, that was actually Koji Kondo's decision.
I also think this is relevant. Zelda Informer suggesting that TP HD is "as good as confirmed".
Color me interested...
One can only hope. I would love to take a new stab at Twilight Princess, it's been a long time since.

I listed only current gen games, but if you add Skyward Sword and Four Swords, well, and now that TPHD is basically confirmed...
Honestly, Zelda is in a downward spiral.

Yeah, it's pretty much confirmed that it's only a Wii virtual console game. Other M and Skyward Sword also appearing in the eshop code pretty much confirms this.

I can already see Nintendo doing it. They will excuse the move saying the original vision was only possible on the NX. Not that it matters, people will eat and still buy the game.
At least my prediction will be good: No new Zelda game for Wii U, rather a TP HD remake.

Only Wind Waker deserves the HD treatment.
They needa drop the price so I can buy it already though.

You are very very late to the party. If there's anything confirmed is that it is actually an HD remake. In the NUS (Nintendo Update Service), a server updated only by Nintendo, the ID has the name THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: Twilight Princess HD, and there's a list that leaks incoming Wii U games, and in the Wii U section, is the game.

Leaked games via eShop scripts! Fun for everyone but America (but mostly Japan):
Wii U games
Kamen Rider Summon Ride! [EU]
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, The [JP]

Well, To say I'll believe it when I see it would be a vast understatement, and you would be completely right in saying there are WAY to many LoZ remakes and side stories being released (not that even without TP HD it isn't getting a little ridiculous).
