^well in theory you can play online anytime......everytime I've gone online it's been pretty unplayable due to lag, hopefully they get that cleared up in the near future.

My play with friends matches have all been fine and I would say 80%-ish of matches on play with anyone are fine with me. Of those 20%, most of those are still playable though every now and then you get some that are just downright unplayable (those are generally on the larger stages for me).

perhaps I'm just unlucky, or playing during peak hours, because everytime I've tried, I find it really hard to even find anyone to play against. On the few occasions where I have, the connection has been brutal.

best game ever? YES at least until another Smash game comes out

It's really not even close to being one of the best. I would say maybe top 30 of all-time at best.

SSBB is the best fighting game ever. I am not sure if it is the Wii game, though. Wii Sports and SMG are quite good.

I would say it is the most value EVER crammed into a game. Some 1 player adventures may be better games(FFVII, Chrono Trigger, OoT, TP) but the fact that Brawl has already given me 30 hours of fun single player(events, SSE, Classic, etc) and I expect to be playing it with friends and family for... ever...
