- co-founders of Criterion Games, the studio responsible for the Burnout series, said they are working on a "spiritual successor" to the series

- Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry founded Three Fields Entertainment after departing Criterion Games back in 2014

- they tweeted the following:

Day one if it's like the older Burnout titles and less like the open world one.

Even that Burnout PSN/XBLA title last gen was pretty darn good imho.
