Going off of Abdiel's assessments, that gap size is unlikely unless Best Buy's trends do not correlate with Gamestop, Walmart, and/or Target's. However, I haven't really heard of any retail-only deals other than the ones Amazon has offered, which isn't significant in the grand scheme of things because it only encompasses 5% of the total marketshare.

Around here in NY ever since halo 5s launch the stores ive walked by have either no xboxes or 1 or 2 left. PLus i saw a lot of people picking up the kinetc bundle yesterday.

Edit and this week we have been seeing the x1 having mor ebundles in the top 100s.

I've seen quite the opposite in NYC and on LI, so I'm not going to put too much into my anecdotal evidence.

So, about tgat apparent can of ass whipping that looks to be coming in November... what can/should Microsoft do.

Release Halo 6.

I laughed out loud.

So, here is the deal. If Sony wins October, wow. But if it wins October and November, or even just November, then the console war is officially over and I can't personally wait to see how the NX vs Ps4 plays out.

Hope ps4 keeps things close this month in case it lose to halo month.

Now that the month is almost over I think the PS4 will be around 500K and the XOne around 480K.

Ms strategy will probably depend on what happens this month. If they win with a decent margin they keep on strolling with what they got, if they lose, prices will be dropping like flies.

Starwars bundle(s) and the Black Ops bundle... have been selling pretty darn good all month.
November is pretty much in the bag for PS4.

2016  Xbox one needs to pull off some kinda miracle to stay competitive with the ps4.

They might be able to do it, but its going to be a much harder battle than 2015 was.
