MS fighting hard not to lose this month. Too late though. 4 days left of NPD tracking won't change alot.

I dunno. If the Kinect bundle can hit the top 10 it can definitely tip the scales firmly in Xb one's favour.

But get this: if they are selling the Kinect for $99 and the Xb one+Kinect for $399, what does that tell you about the not too distant future possible base price for Xb one? With Xb one being bundled with multiple games and extra controllers left right and centre for $349, then it's quite conceivable for MS to sell a vanilla Xb one for $299. As long as every bundle has at least 2 games (even if one of them is a last gen b/c game like FO3) then the value of $349 bundles is still there.

I take it back, Halo affect starting to peak. Also Kinect bundle is destroying it. Didn't realise there was still demand for it. For me right now, X1 is winning the month on Amazon. What's the situation at other stores?

PS4 has been ahead all month long at all retailers.

Check the monthly, it's close. PS4 has 3 bundles that count towards October spread from 25 to 46 in the ranks. Xbox is winning at 23rd. Just looking at that the PS4 is winning. Chuck in the Halo bundle preorders and that gap narrows but PS4 now is only slightly winning. Right now the X1 has 6 bundles in the top 100, and I expect that to be the same til the end of the month. Will NDC bundle at 8th plus the other to bundels at 88th and 93rd be enough?? I don't know man

It is not the "Halo" effect but rather the buy Xbox One console and get a free game  of your choice minus Halo 5 or Assassins Creed that is going on right now and also the Xbox One+ kinect at $400.  There is a lot of good deal right now for the Xbox One is almost every retailer.

Could be enough to edge out the win, it's not like PS4 is in the lead by 100k if it's even in the lead at all (looking at XB1 deals, the PS4 probably is in the lead tho)

Could be, but i don't think MS would be doing these kinds deals of yet if they were winning by alot (or even losing by a little) Especially not with Halo 5 just released. That bundle is basically irrelevant now. Something's up.

@binary solo...... The new bundle has to make up huge sales to pass PS4 in the monthly. Even if it does reach the top ten, 4 days is not enough for that to happen. Are these deals available at all retailers?

When did MS drop the price last year? I would of thought if they were going to do it they would of announced it by now. Unless they're waiting closer to black friday this time.

Seing those deals at all the retailers I think we might get another firesale for this holiday again from MS. Right now a vanilla Xbox at 299 is not even a good deal. The way things are going and the deals MS are willing to offer during the week Halo 5 release are making me doubt a little PS4 win for November. No doubt that as of today PS4 is totally ahead and is about to crush the Xbox One for November (Just like it looked like October was going to be an easy month for Xbox One), but it really feels like MS is going for that second firesales coming next month or some out of their mind black Friday deal. This holiday is going to be crazy in the US.

That kinect bundle is only rising due to it just now being announced, we cant say if it will have legs. MS making these deals tells you they are not confident at all that they have won.If they lose this month they have officially lost america.

Now I am actually asking myself if MS is not going to try another firesale starting next month (next week or in 4 days), because Halo 5 launched "YESTERDAY", what is going on with all those deals? Could MS really got access to early report suggesting they are losing the month?
