Look at the august amazon chart: ps4 was at #15 and #33, xone was  at #40, #85 and  97 (don't count Halo bundle cause it was preordering, not selling). In fact, it is 209k vs 202k. 

September chart, ps4 at #9 and  #73 xone at #56, #92, and #95. 340k vs 281k, according to NPD.

So it seems to me that amazon isn't very good at representing the whole market situation. 

What are you on about? Amazon represents the whole market situation very well. Amazon picks the winning console and NPD confirms it. The only tricky thing is in some months it's not immediately clear which console Amazon has picked as the winner. April this year was one example of it not being as straightforward as the highest ranked sku. This month there areother factors which make Amazon's choice of winner a little hard to identify.

No one is suggesting Amazon alone can be used as a basis for indicating the size of the win. Most people suggesting a big win are also referencing sales ranking by other major retailers when trying to pick whether there will be a big or small gap. People saying PS4 is on top across multiple retailers are drawing conclusions based on those multiple sources of information. They just happen to be posting their predictions here.

Not sure if Microsoft is losing, but i'm prety sure they have the means necessary to track the market in USA.

Given NPD runs through to this weekend that should give xb one a nice final boost for Oct NPD.

It's clear that MS haven't made the headway they'd hoped for though. There's no doubt in my mind that these two deals are an indication that they want to report a win but are currently unsure.

Yeah the GH bundle is not there anymore, i was looking at Destiny. Amazon and Target are not selling PS4 cheaper, so i don't know why the price is being hidden. The SW BF bundle's price is not shown at Target either.

A few X1 bundles in top 100 and too many preorder bundles representing for the PS4 in the top 100, it's starting to sway in favour of the X1 now. NDC at 8th gives the PS4 a chance for October though.

In terms of not showing price. I think when people see that they think "ooooh special deal!" so in some ways it's clickbait and not really a deterrent. And we see NDC at 8th on the hourlies, so clearly not showing the price isn't hurting NDC one bit.

I'm happy that the NDC bundle is selling well, because NDC sure ain't selling to existing PS4 owners much. They should drop the price to $30. They probably only did $10 worth of work on the NDC to bring it to PS4 so they will still be making plenty by selling it at $30/

If they drop the price to $30 then they immediately devalue the Nathan Drake Bundle.

I just got my target catalog and it doesn't list either the ps4 or xb1 price; instead it states to check online or in store. Price war inbound?
