While I agree with you about being disrespectful... The Publisher has the right to sell the game to anybody they want... developers have nothing to do against that after they sign a contract with publisher. |
Agreed.

May be this particular SW add was nothing diffente from every other hollyday add that just include the particular bundle at the end. However, this is the behevour Sony´s droids have with every PS4 bundle. It´s always the talking how a particular bundle AND co-marketing will push PS4 far above the competition. It wouldn´t be that evident if PS4 had real exclusives or timed exclusives every hollyday. And yes, it pisses me off how people are supper ok with Sony PR BS when there are duzens of threads on how Titanfall (p. ex) is not a real exclusive. Or worst every second part IP also is just a money grab and not a real investiment. |
I think you have a issues.
1/3 of your post doesn't make sense, 1/3 of it sounds bitter and the other 1/3 is twisting facts or just lying.
You can go on about "Sony Droids" all you like. The fact is everybody in here can handle the fact that both companies do 3rd party deals. Some of us support these deals and some of us don't. Yet you're the only person in here that is trying to pin it on to one side just to cause unnecessary conflict.

I wish they would just do more game developement instead.
Not a fan of the Amiibos, but given how succussfull they have been, and how high the profit margins must be on those tiny plastic toys they sell for a fortune,im guessing there here to stay. |
Making amiibo doesn't come at the cost of game development you know... It's not like these developers all of a sudden decided to quit their game developer jobs and started making amiibo instead...
At least Nintendo isn't selling us season passes of $50.

Will the bundle more than likely peak on Halo 5 release? I'm also expecting a shift in the $350 bundles this week. I think that anything less than 2 bundles in the top 20 is a failure for MS.

I was expecting a bit more too for today. The way it went from 40 to 14 in the hours in a matter of 4 days I think, with still 3 or 4 days before release made me think it would be inside the 10 by today
#12 XB1 Halo Bundle*
#15 PS4 TLOUR Bundle*
#29 PS4 Nathan Drake Bundle*
#35 PS4 Star Wars Bundle
#54 PS4 Black Ops Bundle
#74 PS4 Destiny Bundle *
#84 XB1 Forza Bundle *
*Affects this month
Will be interesting to see Amazon results if the PS4 Star Wars bundle commercial airs during Monday Night Football (US) game tonight alongside the official theatrical trailer for The Force Awakens. If so, that would be a major PR coup for Sony - especially if it is the full-length commercial with the PS4 bundle at the end.

Indeed it does. The better part for Microsoft is that the bundle goes live tonight; a great headstart for them.

GribbleGrunger said: I'm looking at the monthly charts and the position the Halo bundle is in and I'm wondering if it also includes the preorders. Halo was no where to be seen until later in the month and yet it sits at #32 in charts, and it wasn't even winning until a few days ago. Even now it's only 3 places ahead of the TLOUR bundle. It just seems such a big jump considering how low it's been for most of this month and how many PS4 bundles have been ahead of it. We've all been speculating on how preorders would affect the final outcome but perhaps Amazon actually add those preorders in come the month of release. |
Are you saying that the Halo 5 bundle's preorders from August and September are counted towards October? I don't really see anything that implies the case. Also, it's important to note that the rankings only tell you how one product sells relative to another, not at what what magnitude a product is selling.
