Sure, but when the time for me comes, Seagate will have most likely made a 2TB version of their 2.5 SSHD. While it is a 5400rpm drive, the added SSD memory is the differenciator and it speeds things up significantly and the reviews of the 1TB model has been favorable across the board. Considering the price, unless there something better coming out, it's a damn good deal.

Seagate drives have high failure rates, i wouldn't advise you to put that in your console.

I always go for Western Digital. Samsung and Hitachi are also good options. I've had problems with Seagate HDDs before.

Doesn't the US have the much cheaper 1.75TB version of the M9T?

There are like 4TB 7200rpm drives for under $130. This is not a cheap 2tb hdd. I could be thinking of external, who knows.

That's the one I got! Although I got it more than a year ago for i think about 70.

It's a great HDD guys I highly recommend.

Currently own:

  • Ps4

This is a 2TB cheap HDD. You're thinking of PC HDD's not Laptops/PS4/PS3 HDDs'. Like I said b4, there are plnety of good cheap 1TB 7200 HDD's, but there the 2TB's only rock 5400 atm. (although like I said I have a 1TB 7200 & there is not much differnce than my 750GB 5400) Look at my links in the OP & read the reviews. They are very solid and so worth it for hardcore gamers that like to download all the PS+, F2P, F2D games on PS3 & PS4. Not to mention all the new games you get since most are 40GB-50GB to install these days.

Actially 65 Euros + tax & shipping overseas is = to 75 USD not even counting tax or shipping also with 250GB less.  I'd just get the 2TB

3.5'' HDDs are too big and power hungry to fit in the PS4 case. Even many 2.5 HDDs are too thick to fit in the HDD slot of the PS4.

No only "Laptop" HDD's work for PS4 & PS3.
