Not excited at all though, they could have used the new awesome decoration system of Happy Home Designer, those HD assets, the photo mode of Pikmin 3 (to have a first person view when you want and take cute photos ), the gamepad functionalities (to use it as a menu) and the online features of WiiU to make a very interesting new Animal Crossing instead of this...

Just say it, this looks like shit, worse than anyone would have thought.

This could have been way better if rather than this, they make a Nintendo Amiibo Party. You have a AC board, a Super Mario board, a Metroid board, a Zelda board, etc. You can use all of your amiibos as characters. Play online with friends. Mini-games are different according to the board you play.

I'm pretty sure it would have not been hard to make and could give a neat use to those amiibo things.
