Forums - Gaming - What is logic behind not including a USB cable with a new printer

Wow, so many cool first world country citizens who only buy devices with integrated wi-fi and always have spare cables lying around.

this is the longest delayed retribution thread i've ever seen. i'm all in favor of the slow play but this is positively glacial.

What? Anyway, I guess it's the logic that Nintendo had with not including a charger with the New 3DS.

I would if it had wi-fi.

I just ordered usb cable for whopping 0.31 euro *claps to Samsung*

They actually make printers that are no wifi capable... and you bought that one?

If you live in Sweden as your profile says, then I live in the same country as you.

I checked the first 10 printers that came up on a search on Elgiganten, sorted by customer ratings, and 9 of them, a.k.a. all except one, had Wi-Fi.
And only 4 of them included a USB cable.

So this is definitely something you should check before you purchase such a product, if there are alternate ways to use it.

I don't live in Sweden.. I would buy a wifi printer if I did :D I'll admit I regret not buying wifi, I see it's only 10 euro more, my previous one that I gave away didin't have and I was fine with it, I only use it like once a month and I have to plug the power cable each time anyway.
