Still, I find it sad that reviewers go on haping the "mass murderer" line, as if it gave them any credibility (not that this is entirely false, but honestly it makes no sense in the context).

the only points I see some people taking against this release is the lack of multi-player... which for me is a non issue, I don't think I ever even tried the MP portion of any Uncharted game, and with the MP only titles coming out lately this is a good thing to keep them separate + Uncharted 4 will deliver the goods for this in a few months... I honestly would not even know there was uncharted MP if the gaming press did not talk about it :-/

The score is fine for a remaster, the last of us was an exception. Yet playing the mass muderer card now is a bit odd. Name me one action game where you don't play a mass muderer / conflict profiteer. The body count has only gone up since Uncharted.

For me it's the price holding me back. $75 in Canada, I'll hang onto my ps3 versions.

While I don't care about scores because they're so stupid when it comes to games the scoring for this seems weird. From reading the reviews I don't see where they are deducting the points from. What standpoint are they reviewing from? Platinum on all 3 games? Or are they a never played them before?

Someone said it earlier and is 100% right. Reviews of a game should take place after a year and all it's updates.

Funny that you mention price, here in Ireland it is 75 euro for the normal retail edition and 80 for the Steel case and book... I went for the latter but at that price I thought; why didn't Sony have a 100 euro edition that is 1-3 on disk and a code for the digital edition of 4?

That would have sold a boat load and got the reviewers off their back regarding the value-proposition.

Hey, just in case you didn't know, you can order games on amazon.co.uk to Ireland for much cheaper than what they are sold in shops here for. Works out at about 20€ cheaper.

Ah trust yet another ps4 release to bring the metacritic system into disrepute.

You can't have it both ways, you either have an overhyped game or an overrated game, rarely can you have it both ways.

Uncharted Collection seems like the rare can a ps4 game sits right about where it should be. Not too high not too low. More emphasis should be put on the lack of MP though. It was very popular back in the day and I'm suprised there wasn't more of an uproar.

Cool, I must do that! (and post the receipts to my local gamestop)

It was played, but I wouldn't call it popular. Like The Last of Us, the Uncharted games are praised for their singleplayer narrative and action. Multiplayer in Naughty Dog games is interesting, but generally fairly forgettable. It's just tacked on because you can go shoot shoot bang bang so a multiplayer mode works okay. Most people I saw talking about it when it was first announced just kind of shrugged off the lack of multiplayer.

Personally, I only played Uncharted 2 multiplayer a couple of times, and otherwise played through the single player campaign four or five times because that was where the most polish and fun was.

It was 86 on metacritic.com with lots of praise. It will probably settle around 88
