Do they really need to screw the box design so much? it looks ugly.

Exactly what do you think is the purpose of this program?
"Oh hey, we should rerelease Pokemon X/Y and Mario Kart 7 to get a million more sales out of them! It's not like they're selling anymore, so this makes perfect sense!"
No. It's always been to rerelease older games that have either run out of their print, or sold a bit under expectations, at a lower price. Clearly.
OT: Hope Uprising makes the cut. I'd like to get that game at a decent price. Glad to see Star Fox 64 3D though.

Then just release another print run. Don't pull some shady crap to screw your fanbase more than you do on an already consistent basis. Nintendo Selects is just as it sounds, similar to Sony's Greatest Hits where the best selling games get rereleases, but in this case, it's not the best selling games, and the reason they're not alongside the best selling games is pretty obvious, especially if you look at the review scores for most of them. Nintendo knows what they're doing. Keep selling the better games at full price, trick their fanbase through word play to sell these cheap pieces of plastic as good games under the Nintendo Selects line of product.
Nintendo is just going to be Nintendo.

You're trying way too hard, buddy.
If you're really trying to insinuate that A Link Between Worlds and Star Fox 64 3D are bad games, then you've lost all credibility. Even then, the other games on the list are not bad. Don't know why I'm trying to converse with you about this though, since the likelihood of you playing little to none of these games is quite high.
Regardless, this likely isn't the final list (I can't imagine 6 games is all) so you may want to wait until a later time to spin this to your convenience.
Edit: By the way, several of these games are among the best selling games. And the others aren't even close to the bottom. So, there's that.

Mario Party 3D? New Yoshi's Island? Nintendo makes the BEST games!
The second bold sounds like a typical response from the fanbase when someone downplays anything Nintendo. I've never owned Mario Party 3D but have played it. I used to own Yoshi's New Island and sold it off. One good thing about Nintendo games is their games always keep a high resale value. I own Link Between Worlds, purchased it because I'm interested in it, but have yet to play it.

Nice strawman and generalizations. That's a sign that this argument is going nowhere.
Have a nice day.

Oh did you noticed that ALBW is actually one of the top 5 best scored games of the whole generation and the best scored 3DS game? That kind of makes your argument pointless you know?
So you are only trying to find a excuse to shit about Nintendo and you chose a thread about Nintendo selling some of its 3DS games at a lower price?
What an inmense failure and what a lost of all credibility.
Good to see that some of these games will be getting reprints.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
Do anybody knows what will be the price?
I´m interested on Star Fox 64 3D at a reduced price.
