Yeah, Bozon's consistently more strict in his scoring than his equivalents on the Sony/Microsoft sections of the site, and he doesn't seem to pay attention to their scores when he rates, either.

It's something to get used to.

Anyhow, I've got a mess of other titles I'm working on right now, and I don't have the $$$ for anything extra yet, so PEV08 will have to suffer for now, but I may end up picking it up later on.

 I dont understand you - you rant on about third parties not making an effort then finally Konami put a decent effort in, an effort they admit has been in the works for a looong time and you just say meh I think i'll pass for a quick Ea kiddie cash in.

I got the game about a week ago and, although the graphics are only of average quality and there are very few teams and leagues, still PES 2008 for Wii is the best football videogame I ever played. There is really a notion of controlling the whole team instead of the individual players. Despite the shortcomings I am very impressed with Konami's effort.
