Forums - Sony - Digital Foundry: Hands-on with Uncharted: the Nathan Drake Collection

Saw some Jim Sterling Squirty play of the ND collection. It did make me nostalgic, esp for Drake's Fortune.

"What we didn't expect is the amount of control given to the players with this feature. Players are able to enable object motion blur independently or utilise both object motion blur plus camera blur (just the former is enabled by default). You can disable the effect completely as well, if you prefer."

Just went from a "will buy at some point, probably a month or two before U4" to a Day 1. I must reward this feature with money.

Yep. Because UC4 certainly won't have this feature (and will run at only 30fps anyways so we'll have the double punishment: induced blur from the 30fps  + induced blur from the artistic motion blur meh).

Also the AA in the trilogy is really clean. Surprised they didn't talk much about it in the article. Maybe they are using a TAA component.

Good job by bluepoint they are the king of remastering

Sounds like a great collection. Can't wait to get it and play these games for the first time.

NICE!  Can't wait to earn the platinum for the second time on all of them.

AWESOME! I cannot wait to earn platinum on all three games for the first time on the PS4, after having bought the original three on the PS3, never playing either the second and third, and beating the first one twice without earning the platinum.

Great to hear about the performance! Naughty Dog truly does know how to deliver when they are needed most!

I'm at chapter 13 of the first game right now. It's great and I can't wait to play the rest of the series!

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

It was Blueprint, not ND, that developed the ports.

Oh! Thank you for the correction Dark-San! Much appreciated!
