“I think the team made a trade-off based on what they see happening in the market today and what they wanted to do with their game,” Spencer said. “I love the nostalgia of the couch co-op of what Halo did in the past, but I also know in the realities of the day with people’s busy lives, it’s not as easy to get everybody in the same physical place. It’s one of the advantages that Xbox Live obviously offers.”

Completly !

I don't use split screen so i don't really care, but i don't see why not include this when ppl still want this, again microsoft try to make their vision into the player without care about them ( its how i see this at least)

I play very little co-op, but I would really like that there were more offerings so I could do it from time to time... at least Nintendo almost always offers that to us in some way.

I call BS. local co-op is one of the few things that keep gaming an activity you can make with your friends...

He is the top dog, and he decided Co-OP is of the past, the techs said it wouldn't be able to aply because of limitations... Spencer is doing his usual spin
