I highly doubt that Pikmin 3 is what Reggie was talking about. He said there would be something big for the core and new gamers, and I don't think Pikmin really fits either bill. I love Pikmin, but the last one didn't sell so hot. So I doubt that's the core game he was talking about, and I don't think casuals will flock to Pikmin either.

The core game Reggie hinted at brings 3 things to mind: Disaster Day of Crisis, Kid Icarus, and Animal Crossing(or Star Fox if it has even begun development) I doubt Nintendo is banking big on Disaster, and the last Star Fox, like Pikmin 2, didn't sell that well. Kid Icarus will have a lot of old schoolers like me all hopped up, but I'm not sure if this is the game either. AC reaches both sides of the pond(core and new), but it's definitely not the core game he was talking about. If it's between those 3(4 if we're assuming SF is that far along), I'd say he's talking about Kid Icarus. It may be a combination of Kid Icarus, Disaster, and Animal Crossing that Reggie was talking about.

The new gamer stuff is probably AC and/or Wii Music.

I get the feeling there will be some nice surprises at E3 this from Nintendo. Probably a few announcements that we don't know of so far.

Well Animal Crossing was announced at E3 06 then went off the radar in 07, theres a few titles going to be announced, one being a revived IP IGN already knows about as they mentioned in the podcast not as big as Mario and Zelda epic but not like Pikmin or F-zero, then they were guessing at the big game going to be announced at E3 and they're guessing Kid Icarus so that is stricken off the list of revived IP they saw cause any hint would make their source on the inside not give them more info, so with KI off the list I got better hopes for Earthbound.

A new Earthbound would be sooo nice. :)

I know ^_^ I love Earthbound more then any other RPG, they mentioned why no Earthbound in the US version of Brawl in the podcast, which I'm wondering the same thing I was excited when I saw the images now I'm pissed, even though I got the rom and had the actual game with guide etc. I still would like to have other people play it and love it like me ^_^ I guess they wanted something that was either out or fixing to be out on the VC for brawl. But they can make it up to me with an Earthbound Wii =)

Interesting note, The Wii version of PES 2008 is currently the highest rated version according to gamerankings. Proof that Wii controls can be amazing when used correctly. Hopefully more developers take note of this.

Yeah PES is a good game, third parties can all make better experiences on the Wii then PC 360 or PS3 if they put forth the effort maybe this will shed some light, I say we should get behind it and buy PES 08 on the Wii, best way to show a company what you want is with your dollar.

Ok, it's in this context. They are asking themselves how much Chibi Robo sold on Gamecube. So they guess. One guesses 111k Ww. The other something like 84k something... And then the other guy is checking VGCharts, and there it says 96k... So they were in the middle!

So the guy who looked it up says, i'm checking VGCharts...

And then Matt says... 'Nice!'

And Boze says 'Sweet!'... But they say that all the time though...
